What a PMP management project involves
PMP’s project management process is second-to-none. We use a process that has satisfied our customers time and time again over the years. Our 7-stage process is quality managed the entire way from concept to production, to ISO 9001 standards.
1. Design review
We review your concept and design and improve it using our specialist knowledge, creating a final design to take forward.
2. Material Selection
We consult with you on appropriate materials and tooling to bring the component into reality with the best possible results in a cost-effective manner.
3. Prototyping
We undertake a low volume production run, iterating on designs until the desired outcome is achieved.
4. Tool Design
From the final prototype, we produce a final tooling that allows us to put the component into volume production.
5. Low-cost tooling manufacture
we consult with you on the best tooling for your application – depending largely on volume – and produce the appropriate tools.
6. Moulding Process
We start production using the best moulding for your application, based on several factors including volume and complexity. This could be insert moulding, injection moulding, overmoulding or manumoulding.
7. Delivery
We deliver the final component to ISO 9001 standards. Being a quality assured company with ISO 9001 accreditation we can also facilitate your specific quality assurance requirements.
