PMP inject a new look into the
hand dryer market.
Handy Dryers are the UKs leading hand dryer supplier. They have developed innovate technology to combat odour and sterilise the washroom environment. Handy Dryers pride themselves on design, quality, reliability and performance. Products come with the Carbon Trust seal of approval and strive to be the most economical in the market.
Brief
To develop a new range of high profile and rugged hand dryers. Casings and internal assembly parts were required. Handy Dryers approached PMP for support with the challenge of having a metal front casing modelled for polished stainless steel manufacture. Back plates had to be injection mouldable and accommodate internal assembly components. The finished product needed to look smart.
PMP Solution
PMP worked closely with Handy Dryers’ Managing Director to support the right aesthetic look, while at the same time, considering the best manufacturability. PMP compiled accurate 3D data to be used for cost effective production tooling.
The result
PMP Interpreted the original basic images provided by the clients designer and developed these into workable 3D solutions for the injection moulding process.
